USPHL Premier Players Of The Week: West Region

Week of Oct. 2, 2024

Games of Sept. 24-30

Pacific Division

Forward: Liam Krupcyznski, San Diego Sabers

Krupcyznski (‘04/San Diego, Calif.) and his teammates faced three different opponents over the last week, and against these different opponents, the results were the same – Krupcyznski scored a lot of points. He scored five goals and eight assists, including a show of 3-4-7 on Saturday. He is fifth in Premier scoring with 17 points.

Defense: Scott McNulty, Lake Tahoe Lakers

McNulty (‘04/Williamstown, N.J.) put up three goals and three assists for six points in his three games last weekend against Henderson. He is currently on a four-game scoring streak with a 4-4-8 line. McNulty joined the Lakers out of the EHL.

Goaltender: Jakob Barcelona, Bakersfield Roughnecks

After coming in for brief relief duty on Sept. 27 against the San Diego Sabers, Barcelona got the start the next night against the Ontario Jr. Reign and truly put together a beauty. He stopped 42 of 44 shots for the victory. A 2005-born Bakersfield native, Barcelona joined his hometown team out of the NA3HL.

Northwest Division

Forward: Roman Wolynec, Seattle Totems

The returning Totem and third-year Premier veteran Wolynec (‘05/Langley, B.C.) moved to second in team scoring with 21 points on the year, much of which came from this past weekend. He put up a 3-11-14 line in just two games.

Defense: Felix Palla, Seattle Totems

Palla (‘06/Gyor, Hungary) and his Totems teammates have been absolutely on fire out of the gate, and stand at 4-0 with a +34 differential. Palla registered a 2-4-6 line in two games against Iron County, and he has a 3-9-12 scoring line early on to lead all blueliners in the league.

Goaltender: Creedon Dyck, Bellingham Blazers

Dyck (‘04/St. Albert, Alb.) is in his first Premier season, though he brings NCDC experience in with him. Dyck stopped 33 of 34 shots to help the Blazers defeat the Iron County Yeti in the two teams’ first match-up, and for Bellingham’s first win this year.

Selection Process: Division statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who can choose to nominate alternate candidates for selection.
