The USPHL Midwest Wisconsin Showcase, played amidst the hockey-rich Wisconsin-Minnesota region, is a great take for scouts nationwide, but especially for the 15 schools of the nearby Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), as well as several ACHA colleges in the area. Hudson is located just over 30 minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and conveniently located off of Interstate 94.
The USPHL is bringing together 10 teams for the week to battle it out, including seven teams from the North Division and three teams joining from the Great Lakes Division. This all-USPHL Premier event features teams from a league that advanced more than 320 players to NCAA, ACHA and AAU schools during the 2023-24 season.
Additionally, there have been 58 players selected in the NHL Entry Draft from the USPHL, including 18 from the NCDC and 10 all-time from the USPHL Premier. The Premier has had two alumni draft selections since 2019, while no other league of its type has had any in the last five years.
