Warrant Issued For Pittsburgh Area Hockey Coach

In a time when hockey coaches just seem to be screwing up around the world, we can add the name of James Brown to that list.  Yes, its his real name and no, the godfather of soul has not risen from the dead.

Baldwin Borough police issued an arrest warrant for the head coach of the Baldwin Hockey Club’s varsity team, who is accused of taking $2,400 in fundraising profits.

When raffle tickets are sold for fundraising purposes, they generally need to be turned in and the money deposited.

Authorities on Sept. 17 charged James Brown, 56, whose address is unknown, with theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received, receiving stolen property and misapplication of entrusted property.

The Baldwin Hockey Club is a nonprofit group that sponsors ice hockey as a club sport for students in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District. The club offers a developmental program for kindergartners through fifth-graders and teams for sixth- through 12th-graders. Ninety to 100 families are involved.

Brown, who police said is white and 5 feet, 8 inches, tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, is believed to be in Pittsburgh’s Mt. Washington neighborhood or near there.

Lets hope this douchebag runs into a couple of hockey parents before the cops get to him.  Ooooops There I go just writing my own crazy thoughts.

But hey, if the cops find him with his ass kicked who’s gonna say anything anyway.
