Niagara IceDogs 1 at Erie Otters 2 (SO)

  • NHL Draft prospect Malcolm Spence scored in the shootout to lift the Otters to victory
  • This game saw a fierce goalie duel with Owen Flores stopping 37 for Niagara and Noah Erliden making 46 saves for Erie
  • Anaheim Ducks prospect and Erie Otters captain Carey Terrance opened the scoring midway through the second period as he hit the 20 goal mark on the season for the third straight season
  • Seattle Kraken prospect Andrei Loshko’s 29th goal of the season tied the game and forced overtime late in the third period

Peterborough Petes 0 at Ottawa 67’s 3

  • Collin Mackenzie stopped all 29 shots he faced for the Ottawa 67’s to record his third career shutout and the first this season
  • Frankie Marrelli opened the scoring in the second period, his fourth goal of the season would stand as the game winning goal
  • St Louis Blues prospect Matthew Mayich fired in an insurance goal later in the period and Will Gerrior added the dagger on the power play in the third period to secure a 3-0 victory

Guelph Storm 4 at Sarnia Sting 3 (OT)

  • Ryan McGuire scored his 11th goal of the season in overtime to record the game winning goal, McGuire has now tied his career high in points with 17
  • Sarnia opened the game with two first period goals courtesy of Matthew Manza and Tyson Doucette
  • The Guelph Storm complete the comeback on two unanswered goals in the third period to force overtime before winning in the extra frame
  • Colin Ellsworth played big in the moment for the Storm, coming up with 32 saves for his fourth win of the season

Brampton Steelheads 7 at Sudbury Wolves 3

  • Seattle Kraken prospect Nathan Villeneuve was the main contributor on offence for Sudbury with his two goal performance
  • Vancouver Canucks prospect Vilmer Alriksson had a two goal performance to lift the Steelheads to a victory
  • The Steelheads also saw strong performances from Mason Zebeski (3A) and Calgary Flames prospect Luke Misa (1G, 2A) who each recorded three point performances
  • NHL Draft prospect Jack Ivankovic had another solid night in goal for Brampton as he stopped 29 of the 32 shots he faced for his 18th win of the season

Saginaw Spirit 8 at Soo Greyhounds 4

  • NHL Draft prospect Michael Misa had a three point performance (2G, 1A) as he became the first player in the CHL to reach the 100 point mark on the season
  • San Jose Sharks prospect Igor Chernyshov continued his offensive tear as he scored two goals and added two assist for a four point performance. Chernyshov now has 18 points through his first six career OHL games.
  • Calem Mangone continued his strong play against the Greyhounds with a three point performance (1G, 2A)
  • Utah Hockey Club prospect Noel Nordh’s 13th goal of the season came on a short handed goal in the last minute of the second period
  • Justin Cloutier (3A) and Carson Andrew (1G, 1A) put up some key points to try and mount a comeback for the Greyhounds but they ultimately fell short
  • Andrew Oke stopped 25 shots in the victory for the Spirit
