The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its Week 24 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.

The Everett Silvertips remain No. 1 after sweeping a two-game set against Portland by scores of 5-2 and 4-2, improving to 52-7-2-1 on the season. Assistant captain Jesse Heslop led the way with four assists, surpassing his previous WHL career high with 36 helpers, while defenceman Tarin Smith added two goals and an assist to push his career-best season total to 63 points (12G-51A). Close behind, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens continued their historic offensive stretch with dominant wins over Gatineau, Charlottetown, and Victoriaville, scoring 31 goals across three games. Ducks prospect Maxim Massé recorded 13 points (2G-11A) during the week to reach 94 points, while goaltender Raphaël Précourt tied a franchise record with his sixth shutout of the season.

Elsewhere, the Moncton Wildcats kept pace near the top of the QMJHL standings with a perfect 3-0 week, powered by Caleb Desnoyers’ six-point stretch, while rookie defenceman Tommy Bleyl set both a QMJHL rookie defenceman assist record (61) and the Wildcats’ rookie points record (74). In the WHL, the Prince Albert Raiders continued to chase Everett behind strong play from Daxon Rudolph and Justice Christensen, while the Medicine Hat Tigers were fueled by an explosive eight-point week from Bryce Pickford and another standout performance from Liam Ruck. In the OHL, the Brantford Bulldogs and Kitchener Rangers both posted strong weeks behind big offensive contributions, while the Penticton Vees, Barrie Colts, and Flint Firebirds round out the Top 10 as teams positioning themselves for deep playoff runs with Kelowna in sight.

1. Everett Silvertips (WHL): The Everett Silvertips (52-7-2-1) continue their dominance in the WHL after sweeping a two-game mini-series against the Portland Winterhawks by scores of 5-2 and 4-2. Everett once again showed the depth and consistency that has made them the top team in the league this season. Assistant captain Jesse Heslop led the way for the Silvertips, recording four assists over the two games. Heslop has now surpassed his WHL career high in assists with 36 and currently sits with 14 goals and 36 assists for 50 points this season. His playmaking ability has been a key factor in Everett’s offensive success. Defenceman Tarin Smith also continued his career-best campaign, recording two goals and one assist during the week. Smith now sits at 63 points (12G, 51A) on the season, making him one of the most productive defencemen in the league. The Silvertips continue to benefit from career performances across their roster, which has helped establish them as the clear team to beat in the WHL as the race toward Kelowna in May intensifies.

Games this week: @ Penticton (Mar. 13), vs Penticton (Mar. 14), @ Portland (Mar. 15)

2. Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL): The Chicoutimi Saguenéens (45-9-3-2) continue to display one of the most explosive offences in junior hockey. Chicoutimi currently ranks first in the QMJHL and second in the CHL with 300 goals scored this season. The Saguenéens were perfect this week with dominant victories over Gatineau (7-0), Charlottetown (14-2), and Victoriaville (10-0). Their offensive output has been remarkable in recent games, scoring 54 goals over their last five contests and averaging nearly 11 goals per game during that stretch. The performance is reminiscent of the 1978-79 Trois-Rivières Draveurs, who scored 60 goals over five games. It was also a historic week for goaltender Raphaël Précourt, who tied the franchise record with his sixth shutout of the season, matching Félix Potvin’s mark from the 1990-91 campaign. Ducks prospect Maxim Massé led the offensive surge with 13 points (2G, 11A) in three games. Massé now sits at 94 points (48G, 46A) and is chasing his first career 100-point season while sitting tied for the CHL scoring lead.

Games this week: @ Shawinigan (Mar. 12), @ Sherbrooke (Mar. 13), vs Rimouski (Mar. 15)

3. Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL): The Moncton Wildcats (45-10-2-2) delivered another strong week, going a perfect 3-for-3 while continuing their push for first place in the QMJHL’s Eastern Conference standings. The Wildcats defeated Cape Breton (5-1), Blainville-Boisbriand (4-1), and Saint John (6-3) in a successful homestand. Captain Caleb Desnoyers once again led the offensive charge with six points (3G, 3A) across the three games. Desnoyers continues to produce at the highest level of his career and remains one of the most dynamic players in the league. Rookie defenceman Tommy Bleyl also had a historic week for Moncton. With his 61st assist of the season, Bleyl broke the QMJHL record for assists by a rookie defenceman, surpassing the mark previously held by Gaston Therrien from the 1977-78 season. Bleyl also became the Wildcats’ all-time rookie points leader with 74, breaking Patrick Thoresen’s record set during the 2001-02 season. With strong leadership, scoring depth, and emerging young talent, the Wildcats continue to establish themselves as one of the most complete teams in the QMJHL.

Games this week: vs Cape Breton (Mar. 12), @ Newfoundland (Mar. 14), @ Newfoundland (Mar. 15)

4. Prince Albert Raiders (WHL): The Prince Albert Raiders (47-10-5-1) split their four games this week with wins over Calgary (3-1) and Edmonton (4-3), while dropping two close contests to Red Deer. Despite the split results, the Raiders once again showed the strength of their offensive defence corps. Daxon Rudolph continued his outstanding season with two goals and two assists during the week. Rudolph has firmly established himself as one of the WHL’s top defencemen and a major prospect for the upcoming NHL Draft. With 27 goals this season, he currently ranks second among WHL defencemen in that category. Veteran blueliner Justice Christensen also contributed offensively with two goals and one assist. Christensen’s steady presence and leadership have been vital to Prince Albert’s success throughout the season. As the regular season begins to wind down, the Raiders remain the only team realistically capable of challenging Everett for the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy as WHL regular-season champions. If their defensive group continues producing offensively, Prince Albert could be a dangerous contender heading into the playoffs.

Games this week: vs Moose Jaw (Mar. 13), @ Regina (Mar. 14)

5. Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL): The Medicine Hat Tigers (45-10-5-3) faced a challenging four-game schedule this week and collected six of eight possible points. The Tigers secured victories over Regina (11-2), Brandon (6-3), and Red Deer (8-4) before falling to Edmonton in their final game. One of the biggest storylines for Medicine Hat was the outstanding performance from Canadiens prospect Bryce Pickford. The offensive defenceman recorded eight points (6G, 2A) in four games, including a hat trick against Brandon. Pickford’s offensive production from the blue line has been a key element of the Tigers’ success this season. Projected first-round NHL Draft prospect Liam Ruck also had a massive week, matching Pickford with eight points of his own (3G, 5A). Ruck now has 94 points (39G, 55A) on the season and continues to demonstrate his ability as both a scorer and playmaker. With the 40-goal milestone within reach, Ruck remains one of the most dangerous forwards in the WHL. If the Tigers continue to get this level of production from their top players, they will be a serious threat in the postseason.

Games this week: vs Regina (Mar. 10), @ Lethbridge (Mar. 13), vs Lethbridge (Mar. 14)

6. Brantford Bulldogs (OHL): The Brantford Bulldogs (44-9-7-2) enjoyed a perfect week, winning all three of their games against Barrie (5-3), Saginaw (5-1), and Niagara (6-4). The Bulldogs have now created some separation atop the OHL’s Eastern Conference standings with a five-point lead over Barrie. Import forward Adam Benak led the offensive charge with five points (3G, 2A) during the three-game stretch. In his first OHL season, Benak has quickly become one of the league’s most productive players with 68 points (26G, 42A) in just 42 games. Rookie standout Caleb Malhotra also continued his impressive campaign, recording four points (2G, 2A) during the week. Malhotra currently ranks near the top of the OHL in goals, assists, and total points, strengthening his position as a projected top-five pick in the upcoming NHL Draft. With elite offensive production and consistent team play, Brantford is positioning itself as one of the strongest contenders in the OHL heading into the playoffs.

Games this week: @ North Bay (Mar. 12), @ Sudbury (Mar. 13), @ Soo (Mar. 15)

7. Kitchener Rangers (OHL): The Kitchener Rangers (44-13-4-2) continued their strong run with wins over the Soo (3-0) and Sarnia (6-3) before falling to their rivals in Windsor. Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Sam O’Reilly had a tremendous week with eight points (3G, 5A) across the three games. Since joining the Rangers earlier this season, the former London Knights captain has found a strong role in Kitchener’s lineup. In just 24 games with the club, O’Reilly has recorded 33 points (15G, 18A). Overager Jack Pridham also had an outstanding week, scoring five goals including the game-winning tally against the Greyhounds. Pridham now sits at 42 goals in 61 games during his second OHL season after scoring 27 in 48 games last year. Kitchener currently sits second in the league standings and leads its conference with a five-point cushion over Flint. As the regular season approaches its conclusion, the Rangers are focused on securing home-ice advantage through at least the OHL Championship Series.

Games this week: vs Owen Sound (Mar. 13), @ Guelph (Mar.15)

8. Penticton Vees (WHL): The Penticton Vees (41-13-4-4) continued their impressive season by sweeping a mini-series against Wenatchee with wins of 4-1 and 5-3. WHL rookie Louis Wehmann had a standout week, scoring four goals across the two games. In his first season in the league, Wehmann has recorded 35 points (17G, 18A) in 62 games and continues to develop offensively. Overager Matteo Danis has also been a key contributor for Penticton. Danis has more than doubled his previous career-high in scoring and currently sits at 54 points (28G, 26A) this season. With the opportunity to reach the 30-goal mark soon, Danis has provided consistent leadership and scoring for the Vees. Penticton appears likely to finish second in the Western Conference behind Everett and will soon begin preparing for the playoffs. However, their upcoming back-to-back games against the Silvertips will serve as a major test and could offer a preview of a potential postseason matchup.

Games this week: @ Prince George (Mar. 10), vs Everett (Mar. 13), @ Everett (Mar. 14)

9. Barrie Colts (OHL): The Barrie Colts (43-13-2-4) collected four of six possible points this week with wins over Brampton (4-2) and North Bay (5-2) before falling to Brantford. Barrie has now secured at least second place in the conference standings and sits five points behind the Bulldogs for first. Mason Zebeski had a strong week, recording four points with two goals and two assists. Since arriving in a trade from Brampton earlier this season, the former Steelheads captain has provided valuable leadership and offensive production with 18 points (6G, 12A) in 24 games. Fellow former Steelhead Parker von Richter also had an impressive week, matching Zebeski with four points (2G, 2A). Von Richter adds offensive skill from the blue line to an already talented Colts defence group. Barrie has also developed a reputation as one of the most physical teams in the OHL. With 827 penalty minutes, they rank second in the league and have demonstrated they are willing to play a hard, playoff-style game as the postseason approaches.

Games this week: vs Ottawa (Mar. 12), vs Sudbury (Mar. 14), @ Oshawa (Mar. 15)

10. Flint Firebirds (OHL): The Flint Firebirds (41-15-4-3) return to the Top 10 for the first time in seven weeks following wins over Sarnia (3-1) and Windsor (4-2). Although they suffered a narrow loss to the Soo, Flint’s recent performances have shown they remain a strong contender in the OHL. Kings prospect Jimmy Lombardi recorded three points (2G, 1A) during the week. Now in his third OHL season, Lombardi continues to develop his offensive game and currently sits with 66 points (33G, 33A) in 60 games. Leading the Firebirds offensively is Nathan Aspinall, who has been one of the league’s most consistent producers this season. After signing his entry-level NHL contract earlier this year, Aspinall appears to have elevated his game even further and now has 86 points (30G, 56A) in 60 games. Flint has assembled a strong roster with scoring depth and experience, and the team will be looking to make a deep playoff push as the race toward the Memorial Cup in Kelowna continues.
