2025 NHL Development Camps Feature More Than 50 Players with USPHL Ties

The United States Premier Hockey League is proud of all of its former players, as well as additional alumni of its member organizations, who participated in this summer’s NHL Development Camps. There were 55 players in total who have ties to the USPHL and/or its member organizations who took part in the Camps, held by each of the 32 NHL teams, equaling last year’s number.

The United States Premier Hockey League’s profile among NHL and professional scouts continues to grow. There have been no less than 25 USPHL alumni who have made the NHL since the USPHL’s 2013-14 inaugural season, plus more than 60 NHL Draft selections of league and organizational alumni. This year, alone, there were six players with USPHL organizational ties selected in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The league’s top tier of junior hockey, the National Collegiate Development Conference, has seen 19 NHL Draft selections since its 2017-18 inaugural season.
