  • First-round import pick Vladimir Dravecky recorded his first OHL point with a goal

The Windsor Spitfires stayed hot offensively, posting another multi-goal win for the second night in a row

  • Cole Davis (4) and Beksultan Makysh (3) extended their goal streaks with one apiece, with Davis scoring a shorthanded tally that earned him ‘Play of the Night’ honours
  • Logan Hawery scored the Knights’ lone marke.
  • Joey Costanzo made 19 saves in his season debut

The Firebirds edged the Spirit 6–5 in overtime to open the 10th annual Coors Light I-75 Divide Cup

  • A high-scoring first period set the tone for both teams
  • Jeremy Martin (3G), Matthew Wang (1G, 2A) and Chase Hull (2G), including the OT winner, powered Flint offensively
  • Dimian Zhilkin (3A), Egor Barabanov (2A) and Graydon Jones (1G, 1A) all had two-point nights for Saginaw
  • Mason Vaccari stood tall in the Flint crease, stopping 43 shots
  • Kaleb Papineau kept the game tied at 4 in the third with a big stop that earned him ‘Save of the Night’ honours
