All-Star Blue wins final game of camp

All-Star Recap: Camp ended with a thrilling all-star game. After Team All-Star White took a first half lead, Team All-Star Blue responded quickly on a perfect tick-tack-toe connection from Sasha Chmelevski to Ivan Lodnia to Bobby DeFriest. With the game tied at three in the second half, Blue’s Isaac Johnson stole the puck in the slot and made a nifty backhand move to spark All-Star Blue’s 7-3 victory.

Scoring Race: Brandon McManus (Team Kelly Green) won the camp scoring race with 12 points in six games. Eric Urbank (Team Gray) finished second with ten.

Goaltending Battle: Team Royal Blue’s Gabriel Vinal finished camp with the highest save percentage, finishing with a .946 after the all-star game. William Girard IV was as a close second in the numbers category, with a save percentage of .936.

Competition Recap: As the only team to complete competition play with a perfect 5-0 record, Team Kelly Green laid claim to the American Division title. Kelly Green outscored its opponents 27-12. Team Gray knocked off previously unbeaten Team Columbia Blue on the final day to finish with a 3-2 record and claim the National Division championship by virtue of a higher goal differential.
