Chicago Cougars Add Accomplished Defenseman

The Chicago Cougars are finishing up a big month and are excited to announce the signing of Hunter Schiffman. Born in 1997 and out of Rockford, IL., the Defenseman played last season for the St. Louis AAA Blues. A developing frame with good offensive instincts make Schiffman an up and coming prospect who will fit in nicely to the Cougars organization and we are honored to have him aboard.

The Chicago Cougars will play at the 9,000 seat Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL. The last hockey team to be allowed to play there was the ECHL Chicago Express professional Hockey team. We are excited about this opportunity and the Cougars ownership want to make sure all the players get a first rate experience in all aspects of our inaugural season.

There is a final tryout on 8.21 and 8.22 and information can be viewed at www.chicagocougarshockey.com or contacting Head Coach Brad Stoffers at 314.623.5062 or email of [email protected]
