Dineen Cup Playoffs Day 9: April 2, 2025

The Mercer Chiefs are in the Atlantic Division Championship Series! The Chiefs eked out a 2-1 victory against their New Jersey in-state rivals the Jersey Hitmen, winning their Atlantic Division semifinal series by a 2-1 score. The Chiefs will face the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders in the division championship series beginning Tuesday, April 8.
Nicholas Rockey scored the GWG in the third period, while Tyler Agnew had two assists and Jacob Therrien scored the goal that tied the game up early in the third. Cole Werthman made 28 saves on 29 shots for the Mercer win. In the Hitmen net, Charles Zolin was strong with 38 saves on 40 shots.
