Saskatoon, Sask.- Conner Roulette is rolling the dice on Huskie hockey!
The WHL graduate has committed to the University of Saskatchewan for the 2025-26 season, following a year of professional hockey with the ECHL’s Tulsa Oilers.
Roulette, 22, potted 17 goals and 17 assists for 34 points in 59 regular-season games in Tulsa.
The 5-foot-10, 186-pound winger was a perennial 20-plus goal scorer over his Western League career, culminating in a 108-point (45G-63A) final season in 2023-24, earning a berth on the 2024 WHL U.S. Division Second All-Star Team.
Originally drafted by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the second round of the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft, Roulette scored 118 goals and 169 assists for 287 points in 259 career regular-season games with the T-Birds, Saskatoon Blades and Chiefs.
He owns another 28 points (11G-17A) in 47 postseason matches, highlighted by a trip to the 2022 WHL Championship Series with Seattle.
On the international stage, Roulette has won gold with Team Canada at the 2021 IIHF U18 World Championship, where he bagged two goals and three assists in seven games, and represented Canada Red at the 2019 World U17 Hockey Challenge.
The Winnipeg, Man. product was drafted by the Dallas Stars with the 111th pick in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
The Saskatchewan Huskies are fresh off winning bronze at the 2025 U SPORTS University Cup with a 4-1 win over Toronto Metropolitan University.
Saskatchewan posted a dominant 23-5 record in the 2024-25 regular season before claiming the program’s 12th Canada West title in the playoffs.
