The Guelph Storm win an overtime thriller on home ice.

  • Leo Serlin had 2 points including the OT winner, earning him ‘Play of the Night‘ Honours
  • Zachary Jovanovski was solid in net for the Storm, stopping 28/30
  • Stepan Shurygin stood tall for the Spirit making 35 saves on 38 shots
  • Nikita Klepov continued his scoring ways, netting his 5th of the seeason

  • Battalion first rounder, Cam Warren had 2 assists

  • Blake Clayton found the scoresheet for the Wolves, scoring his first of the year
  • Mike McIvor was a standout in net, making 24 saves on 25 shots including the ‘Save of The Night’

The IceDogs leave the hive with a 4-3 road win over the Sting.

  • Top 2026 NHL Draft Prospect, Ryan Roobroeck scored his second of the year to give Niagara an early lead
  • The IceDogs’ offence was hot in the second period, with goals from Galiyanov, Patterson, and He
  • Jack Van Volsen continued his hot streak for the Sting, scoring his 5th of the year
  • Edwards and Walos both scored in the third for Sarnia, but it wasn’t enough to comeback

The Kingston Frontenacs impressed in front of their home crowd.

  • Brooks Rogowski scored first for the Generals with his first of the season
  • The Frontenacs followed up with three straight from McGowan, Frost, and Kulemin
  • Jalen Lobo cut the lead in half with his second of the year for the Gens
  • Kingston’s offence proved too strong, adding two more goals from Pobezal and Kuzma

A back and forth game ends with a Knight’s overtime win on home ice.

  • Firebirds’ first rounder, Charlie Murata got on the board with his first career OHL goal
  • The Knights came back strong with three straight from O’Reilly, Bidgood, and Funck
  • Nathan Aspinall ripped home his second of the game to tie it at 3
  • The third period featured a goal from both sides, with Woolley and Wang both finding the back of the net
  • Tampa Bay Lightning Prospect, Sam O’Reilly ultimately ignited the Knights’ crowd with the OT winner

The Kitchener Rangers take down the undefeated Owen Sound Attack at the Aud

  • Two of the leagues’ top teams did not disappoint in Friday night action
  • Luca Romano and Pierce Mbuyi both scored their second goals of the season for their respective clubs
  • The Rangers’ offence came on strong, with three Humphreys scoring twice, and Arquette adding another
  • The Attack tried to push back as Mbuyi netted his second of the game, and Therrien scored late
  • The Rangers’ ultimately held on for a home ice win to end the Attacks’ perfect season

Peterborough Petes vs. Brantford Bulldogs

Final: 6 (BFD) – 3 (PBO)

The Brantford Bulldogs’ offence exploded in Friday Night Faceoff against the Petes

  • Adam Jiricek wasted no time finding the scoresheet in his return to the OHL with an early goal
  • Seattle Kraken prospect, Jake O’Brien also returned to the lineup, and was a standout with three points
  • Ryder Boulton found the back of the net for his first goal with his new club
  • The Petes’ tried to rally late with goals from Ula, Kolarik, and Lutz, but couldn’t push past the Bulldogs strong squad

Soo Greyhounds vs. Brampton Steelheads

Final: 5 (BRAM) – 0 (SOO)

The Brampton Steelheads blank the Greyhounds on home ice.

  • Zach Bowen was a standout in net, making 36 saves in his first shutout with the Steelheads
  • Josh Avery made an impact with his new club, scoring a goal and adding a helper just one day after being traded to Brampton
  • Steelheads’ import, Matej Stankoven also added a goal and an assist
  • Seattle Kraken prospect, Jakub Fibigr scored his first of the season, pushing his point total to 4 on the year
