In The O Radio Teams Up With TJHN

I don’t think there is a more fitting way to begin this ‘welcome letter’ than with a theme song.

Yeah, those lyrics basically explain what is going on here.

I am back. I have returned to the Jr Hockey scene. The brand name of In The O… still has a lot of reach and we still have a lot of friends in many rinks who we can pick up the phone and call, or even drop in a rink and sit in the stands with.

What got lost over the years, other than the website intheoradio.com and our last one, ohlwriters.com was direction and purpose. And this is not to say that we didn’t do great work in those past few years. I have to give it up to @dominictiano for keeping the brand alive while I took myself out of the rinks.

Although the live games viewing dropped by about 80% there was still watching games live through RogersTV and Cogeco, through fasthockey, and other outlets available. Every now and again you would see a piece on Jr A because it is fun to discuss the behind the scenes and in the rare occurrence there was a piece on an OHL player, usually around draft time as stories are recalled from when they played Minor Midget and their progression to being a NHL Draft Pick.

But no matter the topic that I choose to write about, there will be at least a weekly, ‘editorial’ shall we call it, whether I am able to sound off on something that I don’t like or a talking point that needs to be discussed. Whether it is the OHL, Jr A ranks, Jr B or even those outlaw leagues, the ones who try to be legit or the ones who just collect paychecks. If it happens on or off the ice and it is someway connected to Jr Hockey, you can expect an opinion from ITO.

“We are very excited to have Brandon Sudeyko, and In The O Radio teaming up with TJHN.  Brandon offers a level of experience and insight into junior hockey in Ontario that we were looking to add.  His connections, and passion for the game make him a very welcome addition to the TJHN team.”

A big thanks to The Junior Hockey News for giving me the outlet so I can continue to express the not so popular opinions about Jr Hockey. If you love the content that this great site provides, then you are going to love what I have in store for you.
