NA3HL’s Battle Creek Changes Name And Coach

The last few seasons have not been easy on the NA3HL’s Battle Creek Revolution.  Wins have been hard to come by and an experienced junior hockey recruiter was needed.

Things may now be changing in the Cereal City.

Enter Marc Fakler.  The former GM and head coach of the NAHL’s Kalamazoo Junior K-Wings who has also coached at the collegiate and high-junior levels for several years including a stint at Western Michigan University.

During his Junior K-Wings tenure in the NAHL, Fakler helped 22 players advance to the NCAA Division I and III levels.  Most recently Fakler has been a regional scout for the USHL’s Sioux City Musketeers.

And the new name…..West Michigan Wolves

New name, new coach, new attitude.  Fakler brings a wealth of experience at the junior hockey level.  Known to be a very effective recruiter, and a coach that players like to play for will certainly go a long way in turning things around in Battle Creek.

Fakler is no stranger to turning around organizations or restarting them either.  Throughout his career, with the Junior K-Wings, Robert Morris University and Wayne State University he has been a part of building or rebuilding a program in short order.

Winning is something Marc Fakler knows how to do.  Teaching and recruiting are two other qualities that Fakler has in his arsenal that should lead to a quick turn around for this organization.
