As first reported here on TJHN on Monday, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs are temporarily relocating to Marshall Minnesota.
This is a temporary move for the NAHL team that is only now scheduled to be in effect for the next two months.
That said, there is no indication from Alaskan authorities that their quarantine and testing requirements currently in place will change any time soon. Those State requirements would make travel in and out of Alaska impossible for Alaskan teams as well as visiting teams.
As it relates to the NAHL in Alaska, there is no new information available on the fate of the Kenai River Brown Bears. It is expected a decision on temporary relocation or a year of dormancy will be announced soon.
