Forward: Seth Ferguson, Utica Jr Comets 

Ferguson (‘03/Brighton, Mich.) passed his November and December combined points when he had a monster weekend against the Boston Junior Bruins. He put up one goal and had six assists (two three-helper games). The second-year Jr. Comet also matched his 2022-23 by posting his 23rd point of the season. 

 

Defense: Sean Conlon, Utica Jr. Comets

What a first weekend the third-year NCDC veteran had for his new team! The ‘03 from Averil Park, N.Y., put up five goals and four assists for nine points as the Jr. Comets went 2-1 against the host Junior Bruins. He was also a team-leading +6 and had 20 takeaways and five blocked shots for the weekend. 

 

Goaltender: Jeffrey Kreidler, Twin City Thunder

Kreidler (‘04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) set the league high mark for most saves in a shutout, with 46 stops on the South Shore Kings this past weekend. The former Pittsburgh Penguins Elite goaltender improved his season save percentage to .917 with this, his first doughnut in the NCDC. 

 

Rookie*: Adam Stevenson, South Shore Kings

Stevenson (‘05/Chandler, Ariz.) is another NCDC rookie who had his first shutout, against the Twin City Thunder – one day after Kreidler’s shutout. Stevenson stopped all 31 shots he faced to give the Kings a 2-1 weekend in their Maine trip. He won his third straight and has gone 3-2-0-1 with a .914 save percentage.
