NCDC 2023-24 Players Of The Week: Mountain Division

Week of Nov. 22

Games of Nov. 14-20, 2023

Forward: Casper Conradsson-Kelvgard, Ogden Mustangs

Conradsson-Kelvgard (‘03/Lomma, Sweden) scored his first three NCDC goals as a hat trick in the Mustangs’ 6-0 victory against the Rock Springs Grizzlies on Nov. 16. He scored three on 11 shots for a shooting percentage of 27 percent. His +2 on the weekend was also tied for the team lead.

Defense: Jacob Bodin, Pueblo Bulls

Bodin (‘04/Osseo, Minn.) registered a pair of assists and also made 14 takeaways to help the Bulls earn three points against the Provo Predators. He was also a +3 to tie for the team lead and his three blocked shots on the weekend tied for second on the team. Bodin, who started the season with the USPHL Premier’s Minnesota Squatch, is a shining example of #USPHLAdvancement In Action.

Goaltender: Beau Altman, Pueblo Bulls

Altman (‘04/Hanover, Mass.), who joined the Bulls in late October out of the NAHL and NA3HL, came up huge for his team with 45 saves on 46 shots to defeat Provo. In five starts, Altman is 3-1-1-0 with a .929 save percentage.

Rookie*: Xavier Goodwin, Idaho Falls Spud Kings

Goodwin (‘05/Alpharetta, Ga.) scored the first three goals of his NCDC career when the Spud Kings earned a pair of victories against Utah and Rock Springs last weekend. He scored the GWG against Utah in a 3-1 victory, and then added two more goals against the Grizzlies. He has improved to nine points in 16 games.
