NCDC Mountain Division Players Of The Week: Feb. 18, 2025

Week of Feb. 18, 2025

Games of Feb. 11-17, 2025

Forward: Matsvei Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls

Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) just keeps hitting the mark for the playoff-bound Bulls, racking up four goals and adding one assist against the division-leading Idaho Falls Spud Kings, giving him 54 points on the season, tied for second in the league. A little trivia: He’s known the league’s leading scorer literally his entire life.

Defense: Micahlind Pelletier, Casper Warbirds

Pelletier (‘04/Gilbert, Ariz.) registered three assists during their game against Rock Springs on Feb. 15, which pushed his season total to seven points for this, his second NCDC season.

Goaltender: Noel Friedman, Pueblo Bulls

Friedman (‘05/Denver, Colo.) was back to old tricks, stopping 42 of 44 shots from the Idaho Falls Spud Kings on Feb. 15. He improved to 6-0 on the season, and he holds a .949 save percentage, and he’s only given up five goals in his last four games.

Rookie: Siamion Marshchanok, Pueblo Bulls

The aforementioned but not named league leading scorer, Siamion Marshchanok (‘05/Minsk, Belarus) scored a pair of goals and added four assists for six points in two games to improve to No. 1 in points with 57 points. Siamion and twin brother Matsvei are both products of the USPHL Premier’s Potomac Patriots – the best examples this year of USPHL Advancement In Action!

Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
