Forward: Easton Edwards, Idaho Falls Spud Kings
Edwards (‘05/Anchorage, Alaska) scored a goal and added four assists for five points. He has improved to 62 points, a huge improvement on his 16 points of 2023-24.
Defense: Cannon Lentz, Casper Warbirds
Lentz (‘04/Nashville, Tenn.) scored a goal against the Ogden Mustangs, which tied their Feb. 28 game 1-1, a game the Mustangs eventually won 6-4. He also had an assist on another tying goal on March 1 against Utah. For the season, Lentz has 11 points in 29 games for his second season, just short of the 13 points he posted as an NCDC rookie in 2023-24.
Goaltender: Matthew MacArthur, Utah Outliers
MacArthur (‘04/Barrington, Ill.) joined the Outliers from the Rock Springs Grizzlies in February, and for the February-March bridging weekend, he went 2-0. He is undefeated in five starts, stopping 56 of 58 shots for a .966 save percentage. For the season, he is 11-8-0-0.
Rookie: Sammy Grimaldi, Idaho Falls Spud Kings
“Mr. Hat Trick” Grimaldi (‘05/Anchorage, Alaska) scored back-to-back hat tricks on Feb. 27 and 28, and he also added an assist. He has four hat tricks for this season, and he has 29 points in 41 games overall.
