Forward
Will Rassier, South Shore Kings
Rassier (‘04/Princeton, N.J.) had a big first weekend with the Kings, coming off a 24-point season with his prior team last year. Rassier scored two goals and added four assists for six points as the Kings split their first two games.
Defense
Will Welburn, Northern Cyclones
Welburn (‘04/Rye, N.Y.) rejoined the Cyclones this year and had a fantastic start, scoring the game-winning goal in Game 2 of their opening series against the Utica Jr. Comets. He also added an assist in that game.
Goaltender
Cole Scullion, Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club
Scullion (‘06/Burlington, Ont.) made 29 saves on 30 shots for the first win in Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club NCDC history, and also the first overall win of the 2024-25 NCDC season. He is a newcomer to the league out of the GOJHL.
Rookie
Colby Dobek, Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club
Dobek (‘05/Buffalo, N.Y. scored two goals and added one assist in his NCDC debut, coming out of The HIll School. Dobek also added another win the next day for a 2-2-4 start to his junior career.
