P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 3, Jersey Hitmen 2

Pavel Baranchik scored the game-winning goal in the second period and Devin Niles had two assists to help the Jr. Islanders to their seventh victory in a row. Jake Fillion stopped 36 of 38 shots for the win, and NCDC Young Guns Game selection Daniel Moor was strong for the Hitmen with 39 saves on 42 shots.

 

Mercer Chiefs 5, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 4 (OT) 

Jameson Klein’s third goal of the year was the OT game-winner, and Gregory Diamond led the way with two goals and one assist. Klein also added an assist for a two-point game. Parker Newman had three assists for Mercer, and Nickita Moiseev had two helpers. All-Star Game selection Dominick Gatto stopped 45 of 49 shots in the win.

 

Rockets Hockey Club 5, Connecticut Jr. Rangers 3

Timotej Varga scored his first two goals of the game and All-Star Game selection Cam Bergeman is up to 23 on the season after two of his own to help the Rockets avenge a Friday loss to Connecticut. Lachlan Gibson, Ivan Anoshko and Nicholas DelGaizo each had two assists. Evan McDevitt stopped 43 of 46 shots for the win.

 

Islanders Hockey Club 3, Twin City Thunder 0

NCDC All-Star Game selection Frank Murphy made 29 saves for a shutout victory, and Daniel Cardozo registered a goal and an assist as the Islanders increased their New England Division lead to five points.

 

South Shore Kings 4, Utica Jr. Comets 0

The Kings’ Ryan Keyes, an NCDC All-Star Game selection, stopped all 37 shots he faced as the Kings took a big win in Utica to help maintain a manageable five-point gap between them and the first place Islanders Hockey Club in the New England Division. Karim Gayfullin had a goal  and an assist and Thomas Delfarno registered two assists.

 

Utah Outliers 7, Rock Springs Grizzlies 2 

Garrett Joss scored twice to help the Outliers to bring the Outliers to a big win against Rock Springs, while Magzhan Sagadiev registered a goal and two assists. Jean-Sebastian Pack posted three assists and Makar Klochkov had two assists, and Michael Schwartz had a goal and an assist. Philip Rondina made 27 saves on 29 shots.

 

Ogden Mustangs 8, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 2 

The Mustangs registered a huge victory and got a hat trick from recent USPHL Premier call-up William Cherniak (Las Vegas Thunderbirds). Dimitri Voyatzis, Casper Conradsson-Kelvgard, Tom Jacques and Cooper Fink each had a goal and an assist, while Owen Hendrikson, Teddie Hember, Samuel Anderson and Carson Melquist each had two assists. Nikita Volski stopped 31 of 33 shots in the win. Ogden and Utah both won Saturday, so the Mustangs maintain their single point lead in the Mountain Division.

 

Provo Predators 4, Pueblo Bulls 3 

The Predators swept their trip to Colorado by putting up a 4-3 win that saw Ben Picard register a goal and an assist, and Gavin Black posted two assists. Ryan Henry made 24 saves on 27 shots for the win. Their four points this weekend gave them a nine-point lead over the Bulls, and they’re seven points behind second place Utah.
