Seacoast Spartans 6, Worcester Railers JHC 2

The Spartans earned their third win of the season and second straight, as they defeated the Worcester Railers Junior Hockey Club on the Spartans’ home ice in Exeter, N.H., on Friday afternoon. The team got a goal and an assist from each of Adam Godfrey (’05/Atkinson, N.H.), John Mantone (’04/Nashua, N.H.) and Marcus Bellomo (’04/Salem, N.H.) Chipping in with two assists each were Marco Beshere (’05/Winthrop, Mass.) and Derek Pietrzyk (’04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) Jacob Jaslow (’04/Tomkins Cove, N.Y.) was shining brightly in net with 34 saves on 36 shots.

 

West Chester Wolves 2, Jersey Hitmen 1 (OT)

Roman Cicco (’04/Export, Pa.) scored the OT game-winner, his third GWG of the season, while Owen Norman (’04/Oro-Medonte, Ont.) put up a goal and an assist. Griffin Davis (’05/Nashua, N.H.) made 31 saves on 32 shots.

 

Islanders Hockey Club 5, Boston Jr. Rangers 2 

The Islanders earned points for the third straight game, as they defeated the Jr. Rangers at home Friday. Cameron Stehle (’06/Raleigh, N.C.) scored two goals and added one assist, while Captain Braxton Powers (’04/Raleigh, N.C.) put up a 1-2-3 line. Alternate Captain Joseph Samango (’05/Havertown, Pa.) added in a goal and an assist, while veteran goaltender Ean Badgett (’04/Howell, Mich.) stopped 33 of 35 in net.

 

Northern Cyclones 3, Thunder Hockey Club 2 (SO)

The Cyclones earned their first shootout victory of the season when they beat the Thunder Hockey Club, 3-2. Veteran Cyclone Michael Markowski (’04/Spring Lake, N.J.) scored the shootout winner as Paul Dalessio (’05/Burlington, Mass.) stopped 33 of 35 in 65 minutes plus two in the shootout. This was the Cyclones’ fourth straight win. On the Thunder side, goaltender Jeffrey Kreidler (’04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) was strong on the other end, stopping 53 of 55 in 65 minutes.

 

P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 2, Mercer Chiefs 1

Ryan Kearney (’04/Kings Park, N.Y.) scored the regulation game-winner in the second period, his fifth career game-winning goal. Lukas Vejmelka (’04/Trebic, Czechia) stopped 37 of 38 shots in the close contest.

 

South Shore Kings 2, Utica Jr. Comets 1

NCDC veteran Joseph Dable (’04/Wellesley, Mass.) scored the regulation game-winning goal, his third this season. In net, Lukas Fursten registered his 10th win of the season, stopping 46 of 47 shots.

 

Pueblo Bulls 5, Casper Warbirds 2 

Brody Clarke (’05/Lakewood, Colo.) scored twice and added one assist, while Matsvei Marshchanok (’05/Minsk, Belarus) put up a goal and an assist. Brody Munnelly (’06/Andover, Minn.), Hunter Bill (’04/Green Bay, Wis.)  and Siamion Marshchanok (’05/Minsk, Belarus) each had two assists. Devin Pack (’05/Colorado Springs, Colo.) made 28 saves on 30 shots.

 

Ogden Mustangs 6, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 3

Tommy Fetterman (’05/Downington, Pa.) scored a hat trick, while Brody Simko (’04/Butler, Pa.) scored a goal and two assists. William Cherniak (’04/Desert Blume, Alb.) put up a goal and an assist and both A.J. Iwinski (’05/Batavia, Ill.) and Grant Hineman (’04/West Chester, Pa.) put up two assists. Hunter Bauer (’06/Bristow, Va.)
