NCDC Stars of the Week | Jan. 19-25, 2026

The National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) has announced its Division Stars of the Week, recognizing standout performances from January 19-25, 2026. Only players nominated by their teams were eligible for consideration.

ATLANTIC DIVISION

Forward: Shawn Swavely – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders forward Shawn Swavely posted 5 points over 3 games. Swavely netted 3 goals and dished out 2 assists. 

Defenseman: Harrison Kinne – West Chester Wolves: West Chester defenseman Harrison Kinne tallied 2 points over 2 games. Kinne added two assists, including a power-play assist, while keeping a +1 rating over two games. 

Goalie: Ethan Ramonetti – P.A.L. Jr. Islanders: P.A.L. Jr. Islanders netminder Ethan Ramonetti turned in a dominant three-game stretch between the pipes, backstopping his team to a perfect 3-0 record while allowing just one goal all week. He opened with a 24-save shutout, followed by a composed 25-save effort in a 3–1 victory, and closed the run with another flawless performance, stopping all 27 shots in a 6–0 win. Across the three games, Ramonetti posted a stellar .987 save percentage and a 0.33 goals-against average.

Rookie: Jimmy Mologousis – WBS Knights: Wilkies-Barre/Scranton Knights goalie Jimmy Mologousis delivered a clutch, lights-out performance in his lone start of the week, backstopping his team to a 1–0 shootout victory with a perfect 35-save shutout. 

MOUNTAIN DIVISION

Forward: Jackson Walsh – Ogden Mustangs: Ogden forward Jackson Walsh totalled 4 points over 2 games. Walsh kicked off the weekend with a hat-trick on Friday in a 7-4 win. He then sprinkled an assist into his weekend performance on Saturday in the Mustangs 5-1 win. 

Defenseman: Tibor Nemeth – Grand Junction River Hawks: River Hawks defenseman Tibor Nemeth found the back of the net twice in two games. Nemeth added a goal in both Friday, and Saturday’s games for Grand Junction, that included a power-play goal on Saturday. 

Goalie: Devin Degenstein – Idaho Falls Spud Kings: Spud Kings goalie Devin Degenstein put together a strong two-game set, going 2–0-0 while turning aside 69 of 72 shots for a sharp .958 save percentage. He opened the week with a 36-save effort in a 4–1 win, showcasing excellent positioning and control. Degenstein followed it up with another composed outing, stopping 33 of 35 shots in a 3–2 victory to secure the sweep. Across both games, he posted a 1.50 goals-against average. 

Rookie: Cooper Jacobson – Ogden Mustangs: Mustangs rookie forward Cooper Jacobson posted a goal and an assist in the Mustangs 7-4 win on Friday. 

NEW ENGLAND DIVISION

Forward: Owen Robitaille – Boston Jr. Rangers: Boston Jr. Rangers Owen Robitaille put together a standout three-game run, totaling 7 points (3G, 4A) while helping lead his team to a perfect week. He opened with a multi-point performance (1G, 2A) in a 4–3 win, followed by a steady one-assist night in a 6–3 victory. Robitaille then capped the stretch with his strongest outing, scoring twice and adding an assist in a 5–3 win.

Defenseman: Ryan Diffley – South Shore Kings: South Shore defenseman Ryan Diffley had himself a weekend, totalling 5 points over 2 games. Diffley added 1 assist on Thursday, then followed up with 4 assists on Friday’s 8-2 win. 

Goalie: Stephen Chen – Boston Jr. Rangers: Jr. Rangers goalie Stephen Chen delivered another strong stretch in goal, backstopping his team to two wins while facing a heavy workload. He opened the week with a composed 34-save performance in a 4–3 victory, posting a .919 save percentage and holding firm during key moments late in the game. Chen followed that up with a solid outing on the road, turning aside 37 of 40 shots in a 5–3 win, good for a .925 save percentage. Across his two starts, Chen recorded 71 saves on 77 shots, finishing the week with a .922 save percentage and a 3.00 GAA. 

Rookie: Blake McMeniman – Islanders Hockey Club: Islanders Hockey Club rookie goalie Blake McMeniman put together an outstanding two-game stretch, earning back-to-back victories while facing a combined 93 shots. He opened with a stellar performance on the road, stopping 48 of 50 in a 3–2 overtime win and posting a sharp .960 save percentage. McMeniman followed that up with another strong outing, turning aside 40 of 43 in a 4–3 shootout victory. Across the week, he finished with 88 saves, a .946 save percentage, and a 2.00 GAA.
