The Death Pool – Ice Station Greer Has Water Shut off

No showers. No toilets. No running water for the zamboni. Restaurant closed because it cant do its dishes. Yes, the Darren Anderson disaster road show continues.

When you dont pay your bills and Carolina Power and Water come and shut your water off, and you happen to operate an ice rink, you got problems. The quick fix? Try to turn it back on yourself, but then you break the water pressure release valve.

Now, excavation needs to take place to replace that valve which will require quite a deep dig. Complicating matters, a little winterstorm thats hitting the country.

But hey, lets let this guy continue to operate three teams between the NAHL and NA3HL. Maybe he should be granted additional expansion teams?

In a time where coaches, general managers and owners call for players and parents to take responsibility for themselves and their futures, why arent the NAHL and NA3HL taking responsibility for their actions?

All in the name of not having to reschedule games? Allowing for other teams to have inflated statistics that will be ignored by scouts, and selling a false dream to customers who have drank the kool aide.

Anderson obviously does not care what happens. Millions of dollars in lawsuits, unpaid bills everywhere, and dreams being sold to unsuspecting families. While his actions are unfortunately not all that uncommon, where is the NA3HL leadership on this? Where is USA Hockey on this? Where is the accountability?

A long time ago I learned that there is only one thing you cannot change in life. That is people who do not care. Welcome to the 3Show boys.
