Richmond Generals Organization To Suspend Hockey Operations for Remainder of 2023-24 USPHL Season

By USPHL Staff

In cooperation with the United States Premier Hockey League Commissioner’s Office, the Richmond
Generals have announced that they will be suspending all hockey operations for the remainder of the
2023-2024 season. The USPHL is currently in contact with all Richmond Generals Elite and Premier
players to coordinate playing opportunities for all affected players to complete the 2023-2024
campaign.

The Generals have been one of the pillars in the USPHL Premier and Elite Conferences and the league looks forward to the potential of having the Richmond Generals brand competing once again in the 2024-25 season.

Updates to the 2023-2024 playing schedule will be updated on USPHL.com in the coming days. The United States Premier Hockey League will have no further comments on this issue at this time.
