- With his goal, Aitcheson has set a new Barrie Colts franchise record in goals by a defenceman with his 24th of the season
- Dallas Stars prospect Emil Hemming got the comeback effort started with his 18th goal of the season midway through the second period, he also assisted on Romani’s overtime goal.
- Utah Hockey Club prospect Cole Beaudoin and Barrie Colts captain Beau Jelsma each had two assists down the stretch to help drive the Colts to the win
