On another beautiful Monday morning, while manning the TJHN email box, I am starting to get some real interesting stuff kids!
Oh hell yeah, the tidal wave of teams going under is just around the corner. How do I know? Well, when team main camps are now getting “cancelled” or “postponed” it reminds me of a saying; “Houston we got a problem!”
So yeah, I was just sitting around having my tenth cup of coffee, and all of a sudden emails started popping up in the in box. Now we get a lot of emails, but Mondays are usually slower days for those in August because everyone is either returning from a camp, or resting from camp over the weekend.
So this mornings activity was just a little surprising.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder why teams would be cancelling and postponing camps at this time of year. August is prime time for finalizing your roster if you’re a head coach. I mean after all the season starts in just a few weeks. Hell some teams start pre season in two weeks.
I wonder if it could have anything to do with the idiotic expansion of pay to play hockey? I bet those franchise expansion checks have been cashed though.
So, if you are one of those players who got an email saying the camp was cancelled or postponed, I would love to hear from you. If your one of those unfortunate players or parents that already gave one of these teams who cancelled or postponed a down payment on the season, I would really love to hear from you.
I wonder if camp fee refunds have been offered or made? I wonder if players were told those fees would just apply to their team fee? I wonder if the Fox Sports glowing puck will make a comeback? I wonder if Pro Wrestling is real?!?!!! Ha Ha Ha
Lets start picking these suckers off now. No sense in waiting until they blame it on someone else.
