4 games today, 22 total remaining
The New England Division is easy. Everything is settled but first and second. Only one game has consequence and it’s not today. The Islanders Hockey Club visits South Shore on Saturday. The winner takes first, unless South Shore gets a point in overtime or shootout.
Tied in points, the Kings would hold the head to head with 12 points to 7 and squeak into first.
Cyclones will visit the Junior Bruins in the New England Play-In Game. Utica (No. 3) will visit somebody in Massachusetts in the first round.
In the Atlantic Division, the Jersey Hitmen (No. 4) visit the Rockets Hockey Club (No. 3). A Rockets win will clinch a berth, since Connecticut (No. 5) won’t be able to overtake them. A Hitmen regulation win will have them move into third place for at least 16-17 hours.
In the Mountain Division, there are two games:
Provo (No. 3) at Rock Springs (No. 6)
Idaho Falls (No. 4) at Ogden (No. 1)
A Provo win gives them third place. Ogden needs three points to clinch first, so that won’t happen today.
Idaho Falls needs four points to clinch fourth over Pueblo. That won’t happen today either. Idaho Falls has two games in hand on Pueblo.
