Thursday Highlights: Lardis reaches 60-goal mark with another hat-trick

  • Nick Lardis reached 60 goals in style—scoring his sixth hat-trick of the season. He is the 41st player in OHL history to reach that mark. His 60th also stood as the game-winner.
  • Adam Levac, Brody Partridge, and Braydon McCallum all scored for the Petes in this hard-fought battle.
  • Jack O’Brien and Patrick Thomas both had two assists in the win.
  • Thomas comes away with 67 assists, establishing a new Bulldogs single season record.
  • Brantford continues their winning ways, improving to 35-16-5-0 atop the Eastern Conference.

Owen Sound Attack 5 at Barrie Colts 1

  • Landen Hookey’s first period goal stood as the game-winner, as the Colts weren’t able to find any momentum throughout the game.
  • Cole Beaudoin opened the scoring early for Barrie, but Pierce Mbuyi and Landen Hookey answered right back to take the lead for the Attack.
  • Tristan Delisle scored a goal and two assists for the Bears.
  • Carter George made 28 saves on 29 shots in the big win.

North Bay Battalion 1 at Saginaw Spirit 5

  • Michael Misa’s first period goal stood as the game-winner.
  • A huge five goal first period got the Spirit off on the right foot, and they held this lead until the very end.
  • Jacob Therrien got the Battalion on the board in the second period, but this proved to be their only goal of the night.
  • Zayne Parekh had three assists, while Dimian Zhilkin and Michael Misa both had a goal and an assist.
