Kasey Ford is staying close to home when attending the showcase this year. The Milan Michigan native finished his first year of U18 AAA with the Compuware program. Breaking into AAA as a 2006 birth year defenseman with such a historically good program like Compuware whould make scouts take notice.
A true defensive defenseman, Ford established himself as a player who is not going to try to do too many things offensively that may put his team at risk. Smart, and steady Ford looks to make the jump to junior hockey this season.
