USPHL Premier Atlantic Division Players Of The Month: November 2024

Forwards

Liam Coutu, Elmira Impact

Coutu (‘06/Granby, Que.) only missed the scoresheet once in November, but more than made up for it by putting up multiple points in his nine other games, including two five-point games and one seven-point outing. Overall, he had 19 goals and 20 assists for 39 points in the 10 games. Coutu is second in league scoring with 58 points in 20 games. He’s a big reason why Elmira remains No. 1 in the Atlantic by 10 points. 

 

Kevin Pico, Red Bank Generals

Pico (‘06/Perkasie, Pa.) helped push the first-year Generals above the .500 mark by ratcheting up the offense. In just six games, he posted 14 goals and added seven more assists for 21 points. He had back-to-back hat tricks, including a four-goal game, on Nov. 4 and 7, and then on Nov. 17, scored a third hattie for the month. He has 27 points in 18 contests.  

 

Ilya Kournoushenko, Red Bank Generals

Kournoushenko (‘05/Tomsk, Russia) was going toe-to-toe with teammate Pico throughout the team’s fantastic 5-1-0-0 run for November. During his six games, he put up five goals and added 12 assists for 17 points. He leads the Generals with 32 points in 18 games.

Defense

Patrick Haines, Red Bank Generals

The Generals were certainly on fire in November, and that carried over to their blue line. Haines (‘05/Belford, N.J.) registered 18 points in 17 games so far this season, with 10 points in six games coming during November.  

 

Breydon Webster, West Chester Wolves 

The Wolves racked up nine points in their seven November games, going 4-2-0-1 to remain in second place as a brand new team. Webster (‘04/Dartmouth, Mass.) has hit the top 10 among defensemen in scoring with his 23 points this year, with 10 points coming this past month. He had four goals and six assists. 

 

Defense Honorable Mention: Blaise Lucosky, Mercer Chiefs 

 

Goaltender

Noah Pfab, Hershey Cubs 

Pfab (‘07/Nurnberg, Germany) earned four of his seven wins so far during the past month. With 418 minutes played, he was the fourth busiest Premier goalie, and he made it count by going 4-2-1-0 with 277 saves on 296 shots for a .936 save percentage.
