Fort Wayne Spacemen 4, Northern Cyclones 2
Bogdan Vysotsky scored twice to lead Fort Wayne, while Jace Lacey and Reid Hyde added goals in a balanced effort. The Spacemen broke a 1-1 tie with two in the second period and carried control the rest of the way. Jack Marilley and Emile Tremblay scored for the Cyclones.
Toledo Cherokee 4, Metro Jets 3
Charlie Nolette struck twice in the first period to set the tone, and Toledo held off a late push from Metro to secure the win. Robert Leis and Hank Davis added goals for the Cherokee, while Luka Maj Pivec, A.J. Zaccagni, and Jake Blum responded for the Jets.
Ontario Jr. Reign 5, Coral Springs Jr. Cats 3
Ontario pulled away with a three-goal third period to break open a tight game. After being tied through two, the Jr. Reign capitalized late with goals from Walker Chitwood, Aidan Yi, and company. Luke Thomilson scored twice for Coral Springs.
Fresno Monsters 3, Hampton Roads Whalers 2 (OT)
Jonathan Andersen buried the overtime winner as Fresno came out on top in a tightly contested matchup. Brian Erte scored twice through regulation for the Monsters, while Hampton Roads stayed within reach behind goals from Serres Sadler and Noel Wargloo.
Minnesota Squatch 5, West Chester Wolves 4 (SO)
Minnesota stormed back with three goals in the third period to erase a deficit and force extra time, eventually winning in the shootout. Alexander Bever scored twice, while Eison Nee and Lukas Plank added key goals in the comeback. West Chester saw four different goal scorers in the loss.
Vernal Oilers 5, Hawkesbury Knights 3
Vernal completed a full comeback after trailing from the opening period, exploding for five goals in the third to flip the game. Down entering the final frame, the Oilers took over late with Matej Zeman and Brayden Boucher each scoring twice in the surge to secure the win.
