Montreal Knights 4, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes 3 (OT)
The Montreal Knights battled back and capped the comeback in overtime, as Zack L’Ecuyer completed the hat trick with the game-winner. Carolina jumped out early with a two-goal first period, but Montreal responded with a strong third to force OT before sealing it. Nicholas Panayotidis also scored for the Knights, while Eric Mosquin, Ethan Balamucki, and Colby Markham found the back of the net for Carolina.
Fort Wayne Spacemen 4, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 3
The Fort Wayne Spacemen used a three-goal third period to erase a deficit and secure the win. After trailing entering the final frame, goals from Hayden Stratman, Braedon Rasinskis, and Tyson Finefrock powered the comeback. Kegan Power opened the scoring for Fort Wayne. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton received goals from Francis Gauvin, Camden Adams, and Sawyer Taylor but couldn’t hold off the late push.
Tampa Bay Juniors 3, Northern Cyclones 2 (SO)
The Tampa Bay Juniors edged the Northern Cyclones in a shootout after building an early lead. Riley Furbeck and Reilly Faucher scored in the first period to give Tampa Bay control, and they held on through regulation and overtime before winning in the shootout. Benjamin Musfeldt scored twice for Northern Cyclones, who pushed late but came up just short.
