Justin Scarbrough, Northern Cyclones
Scarbrough (‘04/Redondo Beach, Calif.) made massive impacts for the Northern Cyclones in November, registering 14 goals and six assists across eight games. In his third season with the Northern Cyclones, Scarbrough is the season points leader for the franchise. In 82 career games, he has 50 goals and 32 assists.
Dylan Reynolds, Islanders Hockey Club
The leading points scorer for the Islanders Hockey Club this season, Reynolds (‘04/Middletown, Conn.) added 14 points to his tally in November, posting seven assists and scoring seven goals – three in the Islanders’ game against the Worcester Railers on Nov. 8. Reynolds is in his third season with the Islanders. In 98 career games, he has 43 goals and 51 assists.
Klas Jonsson, Northern Cyclones
Jonsson (‘04/Stockholm, Sweden) is showing promise in his rookie season with the Northern Cyclones. In November, he scored four goals and registered 10 assists, boosting his season tally up to 15 with one assist in October.

Defensemen
Trevor Belak, Northern Cyclones
Belak (‘04/Pittsburgh, Penn.) is on an eight-game points streak for the entire month of November, scoring three goals and registering 10 assists for the Northern Cyclones. He’s the second highest scoring leader for the Northern Cyclones this season, a great achievement as a defenseman. In his third season in the Premier league, Belak has played 82 career games, with 22 goals and 37 assists for 59 career points. He earned honorable mention in last month’s Player of the Month nominations.
Nick Zanin, Springfield Pics
Earning his second consecutive Player of the Month nomination, Zanin (‘04/Stockbridge, Mass.) scored five goals and had five assists to help him become the sixth-highest scoring defenseman in the Premier. Zanin crossed 100 career games on Nov. 2 and continues to be an impactful player in his third season with the Pics. He has 58 career points with 17 goals and 41 assists.
Defenseman Honorable Mention: C.J. Stice, South Shore Kings
Goaltender
Thomas Cafarelli, Islanders Hockey Club
Rookie Cafarelli (‘06/Portland, Ore.) made his Premier league debut in November and is making big statements already. In his four games, Cafarelli had three shutouts and conceded only one goal for an impressive .991 save percentage. He made 110 saves on 111 shots over the month and is 4-0-0-0 heading into December.
Honorable Mention: Jordan Dumont, Boston Junior Bruins
Selection Process: The division’s coaches are presented with a ballot form with statistical leaders (ranked by points per game average for skaters and save percentage for goaltenders) and vote on that form. The league takes the results of that vote and presents the finalists to the coaches, who are able to vote on further changes if desired.
