New England Division
Forward: Nicholas Rooney, Islanders Hockey Club
Rooney (‘04/Tampa, Fla.) put up a goal and added four assists for five points in two games against Utica over Nov. 14-15. Rooney improved to 23 points in 16 games this season, his third with the Islanders. He brings NCDC experience to the IHC Premier lineup, as well.
Defense: Frédéric D’Amours, Springfield Pics
D’Amours (‘04/Mont-St-Hilaire, Que.) picked up two goals and added two assists for four points over three games between Nov. 12-16. D’Amours, a second-year Pic, improved to 15 points in 19 games. For his career, he has 35 points in 62 games.
Goaltender: Jake Henry, Islanders Hockey Club
Henry (‘05/Boxborough, Mass.) stopped all 35 shots he faced from the Utica Jr. Comets on Nov. 14, registering his first junior shutout even before taking his first regulation loss in junior hockey, which has not yet happened to the former Williston Northampton School standout through eight games (7-0-1-0).
Canada Division
Forward: Lucas Choteau, Somang L-L Hockey
Choteau (‘06/Saguenay, Que.) put up three goals and added four assists for a seven-point run against College Universel Gatineau. He put up game-winners in each game, as well. He currently has 25 points in 23 games on the season, including 16 scored over his last six games straight, an active streak he’ll try to build upon in his next game.
Defense: Matt Burns, Hawkesbury Knights
Burns (‘05/St-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Que.) put up a goal and added four assists in a weekend sweep of the Kingston Frontenacs. Burns improved to 20 points in 20 games for this season, improving on his 2023-24 totals by 15 points already. He has 25 points in 46 career Premier contests.
Goaltender: Alexis Viel, Somang L-L Hockey
The repeat winner Viel (‘06/L’Assomption, Que.) was busy for Somang over the weekend against College Universel Gatineau, stopping 85 of the 91 shots that he faced for a .934 save percentage.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Kevin Pico, Red Bank Generals
Pico (‘06/Perkasie, Pa.) had a hugely productive weekend, putting up four goals and adding an assist in straight team-vs.-team play, and he also added a shootout game-winning goal to that mix. Not even including that shootout winner, he has 21 points over each of his last six games, including a five-point performance on Nov. 20. He has 16 goals and 27 points in 18 games for the first-year Generals.
Defense: Blaise Lucosky, Mercer Chiefs
Lucosky (‘05/Holmdel, N.J.) put up a pair of goals and added one assist against the division-leading Elmira Impact on Nov. 16, including his third career game-winning goal. He currently has a 6-12-18 line in 19 games.
Goaltender: Ben Delisi, Connecticut Jr. Rangers
Delisi (‘05/Boca Raton, Fla.) registered a 37-save shutout to defeat the Jersey Hitmen on Nov. 14, which was also his first USPHL victory. Delisi, who is 2-0-0-1 with a .920 save percentage, joined the defending National Champions this year from the NA3HL.
Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
