The USPHL congratulates its first group of Players Of The Week, for this week only representing all of the league as only six teams competed last week. Going forward, Players Of The Week will be awarded by Division.
Forward: Hunter Berry, Charlotte Rush
Over the course of the Rush’s opening weekend, Berry (‘02/Colleyville, Texas) showed off his experience in this, his second Premier season and first with the Rush. Against the Columbia Infantry over the opening weekend, Berry scored five goals and three assists. He has already scored half of his entire 2021-22 points total.
Defense: Chase Wainman, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes
Wainman (‘02/Las Vegas, Nev.) has certainly made the ease of transition from an All-Star Elite season last year to the Premier Division this year. He posted a goal and two assists in a split weekend against the Hampton Roads Whalers, and also had five hits and 16 takeaways.
Goaltender: Jadon Lee, Richmond Generals
Lee (‘02/Fulton, N.Y.) became the second Elite All-Star to capture Premier Players Of The Week honors in his first week. A key cog in the Gens’ Elite Championship run last spring, Lee turned away 41 of 43 shots in a win against the Potomac Patriots in a sweep weekend.
