USPHL Premier Players Of The Week: South Region

Southeast Division 

Forward: Noel Wargloo, Hampton Roads Whalers 

Wargloo (‘05/Uppsala, Sweden) scored two goals and posted two assists last week, continuing a six-game points streak he began on Jan. 3. In his first Premier season, Wargloo has played 33 games and posted 23 points (13 goals; 10 assists).

 

Defense: Marshall Beaker, Charlotte Rush 

Charlotte Rush blueliner Beaker (‘04/Brighton, Mich.) added a goal and an assist to his scorecard on Jan. 11, bringing his season points total to 15. He has played 15 games in his first full Premier season. Beaker will play with the Florida/Southeast team at the 2025 Premier All-Star Game. 

 

Goaltender: Rocco Stolz, Charlotte Rush 

Stolz (‘04/Rochester, Mich.) went 1-0-0-1 last week, making 50 saves on 54 shots for a .926 save percentage. He is 8-0-0-4 in his third Premier season and second with Charlotte Rush. He has a .930 career save percentage and five shutout wins to his name. 

 

Florida Division

Forward: Matthew Cunningham, Florida Eels 

Cunningham (‘04/Land O’ Lakes, Fla.) registered an average 1.50 points per game last week, adding one goal and three assists to his scorecard. He scored a powerplay goal in his 100th career game on Jan. 12. He has 42 career points and is playing in his fourth Premier season, first with the Florida Eels.

 

Defense: Jackson Henningsgaard, Tampa Bay Juniors 

Henningsgaard (‘06/Mound, Minn.) registered two assists last week for the Tampa Bay Juniors. The blueliner rookie has 11 points in his inaugural season, with 30 games played and counting.

 

Goaltender: Nate Galbraith, Tampa Bay Juniors 

Galbraith (‘06/Brockville, Ont.) made 34 saves on 35 shots on Jan. 11 for a 1.00 goals against average. In his rookie Premier season with the Tampa Bay Juniors, he is 8-4-0-0 with a .925 save percentage.

Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
