Victory Honda Midget Major And Minor Dominate In Michigan State Playoffs

Midget AAA hockey in Michigan is highly competitive on the ice and when it comes to NCAA and Junior Hockey recruiting.

Every year players from the State of Michigan go on to the USHL, OHL, NAHL and Canadian Junior A hockey.  Many move on to NCAA and the NHL.

The Victory Honda Midget AAA program is known for successfully producing high end talent over the years.  Alex Debrincat of the Erie Otters in the OHL is a recent Victory Honda graduate that is not in the OHL’s top ten scoring and seen as a first round NHL pick in the 2016 draft.

On Sunday, Victory Honda captured both the Midget Major and Midget Minor Michigan State Championships.

While an impressive feet on its own, one can only think about how many players from the Minor team will move up to the Major team next year to defend these titles.  From the Midget Minor team that was nationally ranked as the number one team all season.

Lets not forget the teams they faced either.

The Majors beat a very good Oakland Junior Grizzlies team in the morning, and the Minors beat the storied Little Caesars team in the evening.

The scouts were there all week as well.  From Wednesday on, scouts were in and out of the Taylor Sportsplex taking notes and preparing for various league drafts.

TJHN would like to congratulate Victory Honda on a remarkable 2015-2016 season.
