Warriors forward Erkkila makes NCAA DI commitment

The Michigan Warriors, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are proud to announce that forward Levi Erkkila has verbally committed to continue his hockey career playing for Head Coach Walt Kyle at NCAA Division I Northern Michigan University.

The Calumet, Michigan native is in his first season playing for the Michigan Warriors of the North American Hockey League, and coach Moe Mantha.

Mantha continued by saying he… “is excited to see the continued development of his players, and that the Warriors organization is extremely pleased for Levi. This is an excellent opportunity for him to continue his hockey career and education”.

Erkkila tallied 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points in 36 games for the Warriors this season.

He joins former Warrior Ryan Trenz at Northern Michigan University and becomes the 8th Warriors player joining Robert Tadazak (Army), Mike Szuma (University of Michigan), Justin Hoomaian (MSU), Joey Ferris (Connecticut), and A.J. White (UMass-Lowell), and Corey Schueneman (Western Michigan University) as NCAA Division 1 Commitments.
