American Hockey Academy Adds New U14 Coach

My name is JJ Santagata, I have been coaching / running my hockey training business for 4 years now.

The moment I graduated college and found myself behind the bench for the Potomac Patriots was the moment I fell in love with coaching, working with the youth and being a role model for the next generation of hockey players. I have coached the Potomac Patriots, Ames High School Varsity program and Des Moines Jr Buccaneers Red team over the last four years.

I have been working with 100s of youth hockey players on and off the ice in the Des Moines area. I love the game of hockey, preparing players for the next level, pushing young hockey players to be their best, never give up and constantly pursue their dreams and passion with 100% effort no matter what happens in their journey!

As a coach, I like to focus on skill development, hockey awareness, confidence with the puck, improving players IQ and allowing them to learn life lessons on and off the ice to prepare them to be strong and successful young adults!

I am thrilled to join the American Hockey Academy and continue to build this program and push players to the next level.
