Thursday Sept. 25, 2025 Final Scores
Woodstock Slammers 3 vs. Boston Jr. Rangers 6: Boston got out ahead with a 2-0 score in the first period with Nathaniel Boeckle and Jack O’Connor both scoring. Nearing the end of the period, Woodstock answered back to tie the game 2-2 with Brody Irvine and Owen Rattray. Boston took back the score and then some with Hayden Newman, Jacob Gelman and Charles Dey all scoring for a 5-3 Jr. Rangers lead. In the third, the Slammers got another goal on the board with Jan Teterja, making the score 5-3. Boston added another late in the game from Charles Dey for a 6-3 final. Jr. Rangers goalie Keegan Waldo turned away 12 tries on net.
Jersey Hitmen 4 vs. Connecticut Junior Rangers 2: The Jersey Hitmen came out strong, striking twice in the first period with goals from Parker Burns and Derek Tremblay to take a 2-0 lead. In the second, the Hitmen added another with Jordan Laroda for a 3-0 score. The Junior Rangers got on the board with Oliver Olsson making it a 3-1 game. Jersey’s Riley Lephart extended the lead to 4-1 heading into the second intermission. Connecticut tried to rally with a goal from Griffin Rudo midway through the final frame, but the Hitmen held on for the 4-2 victory. Hitmen goaltender John Gazzola was fantastic between the pipes, stopping 36 shots on net.
Universel Academy 4 vs. South Shore Kings 5 (OT): Universel came out of the gates to take a 3-0 lead. In the second period, Matt Leamy got the Kings on the scoreboard for a 3-1 game. In the third the Kings went to work scoring three straight with Brendan Keaveny netting two and Alex Babineau. Universel would even the game 4-4 late to force overtime. In the extra frame, Jake Kavanagh scored the game winner for a 5-4 final.
West Chester Wolves 3 vs. Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights 2 (OT): The action picked up in the second period when West Chester’s Grant Lucas and Nico Pasquale scored for a 2-0 lead. Wilkes-Barre got on the scoresheet near the end of the period with Connor Lawrence, making the score 2-1. In the third, the Knights evened the game with Jackson Chicola to force overtime. In the overtime frame, Eric McHale scored the winner for the Wolves to take the win, 3-2. Sebastian Pribula was great between the pipes as he stopped 30 shots.
