The GOJHL’s best young talent will be on display on Tuesday, December 27 in Ayr as the Centennials host 2022 Top Prospects and Future Stars games at the North Dumfries Community Centre. The Future Stars game is set for 4 p.m. and will feature the league’s top 16-year-olds, followed by the Top Prospects game at 7 p.m. and sees the best 17 and 18-year-old payers in the GOJHL take to the ice.
Centennials Director of Hockey Operations Tim Barrie says the team’s community will be out in droves to support the two games and he adds it will be exciting to watch the quality of players on December 27. “We all just want to see a great hockey game and we want to see the skill level in this league. We are a hotbed for talent and for anyone who hasn’t seen GOJHL games, there is so much of it on the ice in any given game.”
“After missing out on the event last year due to a surge in COVID-19, we’re looking forward to having our best young players on the ice for one of our premiere events. We’re excited to have Ayr as host and know they will do an outstanding job in providing an outstanding experience to the players, fans and scouts.”
Rosters are expected to be announced on Monday, December 12th.
