Inaugural USPHL Las Vegas Showcase Runs Dec. 19-22

Will Feature Teams From USPHL Premier’s Pacific, Northwest and Mountain Divisions

The USPHL and the host Las Vegas Thunderbirds are excited to present the inaugural USPHL Las Vegas Showcase, which will take place at City National Arena in Las Vegas as well as Lifeguard Arena in nearby Henderson. The USPHL’s first showcase event west of Minnesota will begin Monday, Dec. 19, and will run through Thursday, Dec. 22. 

The Las Vegas Showcase will be the first showcase event to feature all seven Pacific Division teams in addition to all five Northwest Division teams, all from the USPHL Premier. 

Additionally, the Provo Predators of the USPHL Premier’s Mountain Division will join in the festivities for the week. 

 

Full USPHL Premier Las Vegas Showcase Schedule

 

Teams from the USPHL Premier’s Pacific Division include the two-time Nationals participant Fresno Monsters as well as the host Las Vegas Thunderbirds, San Diego Sabers, Long Beach Shredders, Lake Tahoe Lakers, Ontario Jr. Reign and Bakersfield Roughnecks. 

The first-year USPHL Premier Northwest Division includes the current league leader in winning percentage the Vernal Oilers (19-0), as well as the Seattle Totems, Bellingham Blazers, Rock Springs Prospectors and Rogue Valley Royals. 

City National Arena, practice home of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, is located at 1550 S. Pavilion Center Drive, and is a 20-minute highway drive from Harry Reid International Airport. 

LIfeguard Arena is located at 222 S. Water St. in Henderson, Nev., and is also a 20-minute highway drive from the airport. The two arenas are approximately 30 minutes apart, all by highway. 

The USPHL and Thunderbirds welcome all NCAA, CHF and ACHA member institutions to the inaugural Las Vegas Showcase, where they will have a fantastic opportunity to scout and meet with our student-athletes. There will be a hospitality suite at each venue as well as on-site staff to assist with connecting college coaches with players as needed.
