Summaries by Joshua Boyd / NCDCHockey.com

Forward: Edvin Robertsson, Twin City Thunder

Robertsson (‘03/Stockholm, Sweden) had his first multi-goal game which also saw his first hat trick of his career. He scored three goals and added an assist on the Thunder’s third game at the South Shore Kings Presidents Day Showcase, on Feb. 18. The career best single game output also gave Robertsson a career high of 17 points in 40 games, after putting up 15 points in 2022-23, his first NCDC season.

Defense: Liam Bard, Boston Junior Bruins

Bard (‘04/Southborough, Mass.) is a former Junior Bruins youth hockey player who’s recently returned to the organization after time in the NAHL. During the Kings Showcase, Bard put up three assists in two games to help the Junior Bruins to a 2-0 performance in Foxboro. His 23:38 of average ice time was good for second on the team, and his +2 and five blocked shots both tied for the team lead during the event. He has 11 points in 25 games with the Junior Bruins this season.

Goaltender: Paul Dalessio, Northern Cyclones

Dalessio (‘05/Burlington, Mass.) had a fantastic weekend at the South Shore Kings Presidents Day Showcase, stopping all 31 shots he faced from the Mercer Chiefs for his first NCDC shutout. He also stopped 27 of 28 shots against the defending Dineen Cup Champion P.A.L. Jr. Islanders winning 4-1. He improved to 7-6-0-1 with a .924 save percentage for the season.

Rookie*: Michael Markowski, Northern Cyclones

Markowski (‘04/Spring Lake, N.J.) put up two goals and two assists for a four-point weekend as the Cyclones went 3-0 as a team in Foxboro. He improved to 28 points in 41 games this year. The former Frederick Gunn School forward was reunited with former Gunn teammates William Welburn and Kyle Smyth on the Cyclones.
