Forward: Brian Judge, Worcester Railers JHC
Judge (‘04/Rochester, N.Y.) scored two goals and added four assists for six points in four games over the past week. He improved to 23 points in 35 games for this season.
Defense: Patrick Dotson, Worcester Railers JHC
Dotson (‘05/Bronxville, N.Y.) scored the shootout-winning goal and added a regulation goal and an assist in the Railers’ 6-5 victory against the Jersey Hitmen at the South Shore Kings Presidents Day Showcase. He also added four other assists for six points in four games over the week.
Goaltender: Logan Abric, Northern Cyclones
Third-year NCDC veteran Abric (‘04/Hayward, Wis.) stopped 49 of 52 shots in a big showdown against the West Chester Wolves. That gave Abric his third straight win and his 15th overall victory this season. He has a career record of 28-19-6-1 with a .918 save percentage.
Rookie: Zachary Walsh, South Shore Kings
The Hamilton College recruit Walsh (‘05/Lake View, N.Y.) had four assists during three games at the Kings’ Presidents Day Showcase. The former Salisbury School and Avon Regals standout now has 39 points in 42 games, ranking second among all NCDC defensemen.
Selection Process: Team coaches first nominate players, the League sends back finalists, and coaches are then able to further vote on finalists or nominate other players.
