P.A.L. Jr. Islanders 4, Islanders Hockey Club 0
Goaltender Nicholas Bevilacqua made 36 saves on 36 shots to improve to 25 wins this year and 47 for his career, one win shy of tying the career record set by current Army goaltender Evan Szary (48). Ty Broad, Heikki Virtanen and Ryan Franks each had a goal and an assist, and Carter Hanrahan registered three assists. P.A.L. improved their Atlantic Division lead to 30 points.
South Shore Kings 5, Rockets Hockey Club 2
Nathan Stachowiak scored twice and Ryan Keyes stopped 23 of 25 shots to help the Kings get an important victory as they continue to chase the Islanders Hockey Club for the New England Division lead. Jake Kavanagh’s GWG was his 17th goal of the season. The Kings are now five points behind IHC.
Ogden Mustangs 4, Rock Springs Grizzlies 3 (SO)
Brody Simko and Teddie Hember each had a goal and an assist and Ben Dardis registered 26 saves on 29 shots in regulation and OT to help set up the Mustangs’ shootout victory. Simko and Parker Osborn each had shootout goals, with Osborn’s being the game-winner. Samuel Anderson registered two assists as well in the win. The Mustangs improved their Mountain Division lead to three points.
Utah Outliers 2, Provo Predators 1
The Outliers got goals from Rhyle Shevlin and Michael Schwartz (GWG), as well as 28 saves on 29 shots from Philip Rondina to give them a victory as they continue to chase the Ogden Mustangs for the Mountain Division lead. Utah is currently three points behind Ogden.
Pueblo Bulls 4, Idaho Falls Spud Kings 1
Pueblo’s Will Sinclair and Brody Clarke each had a goal and an assist and William Johnson’s 16th goal was the GWG. Beau Altman stopped 29 of 30 in net, and Pueblo now stands at fourth place (the final playoff position) with a lead of three points on Idaho Falls.
