Steelheads sign forward Ty Daniels

BRAMPTON, ONT The Brampton Steelheads are proud to announce the signing of forward Ty Daniels. Daniels, a 2008-born winger was selected in the seventh round, 135th overall in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.

A Grimbsy, Ontario native, Daniels previously played a key role for the with the Niagara North Stars (U16 AAA) in the 2023-24 season, Daniels recorded 14 goals and 15 assists for 29 points in 34 regular season games and added 4 goals and 8 points in 8 playoff games. During the same season, Daniels, showed strong playmaking ability in 4 OHL Cup games he posted 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

Daniels also appeared in 5 preseason games posting a powerplay goal against the Guelph Storm on August 30th.

James Richmond commented on the recent signing. Ty is a tireless worker and great skater. He brings energy every shift which will fit very nicely with how the Steelheads want to play.”
