Its story time boys and girls. Today we are going to read about a shitty little team in a great hockey community. A shitty little team that no matter how hard they tried, or actually didn’t try, they couldn’t even look remotely close to a real junior hockey team.
See the Colorado Evolution have been a shit show for years. Not only did they suck on the ice, but there was no such thing as recruiting for the junior team.
It turns out, that the “operational plan” for this gonger was to take midget players and have them play two schedules. Yeah, you know, cause like having 16 year old kids play against 20 year old kids in their spare time is always a good idea!
So, when the midget team was going to be out of town at a tournament for opening weekend in the WSHL, the monkey at the wheel wanted to reschedule everything. Yeah, you know, like “hey boys, I know we suck and all, and we make the league look bad, but would you mind bending over backwards so we can screw you?”
Ummmmmmm yeah, not so much.
So, when the league said, “no thanks” to bending over backwards, or just plain bending over, the Evolution finally did the right thing and folded.
Seriously, this was one bad operation. They didn’t scout, they didn’t recruit that anyone was aware of, but when it came to home games it was standing room only! Yeah, well it was standing room only because the freakin arena they play in, doesn’t have any damn bleachers or seating in the arena! Seriously! No damn seating in the arena!!!
But hey, its all good. They got some sweet ass cookies in the snack bar, and when you play in Denver, your bound to get the munchies. Wink wink, nudge nudge
Maybe the Evolution can join the RMJHL?! It looks like the “420’s” application to join the RMJHL was received, but it was not legible due to the writer having ate so many Doritos that the paper was covered in cheese dust. The application will likely be recycled though as it was written on a very large EZ Wider paper stock.
