What a month March has turned out to be. Its been awesome really. So many screw ups and so many new things to write about. I love this stuff.
So, everyone remember how we reported on how USA Hockey was really toughening up the “Zero Tolerance” policy regarding drugs and alcohol? Yep, it didn’t take long for a few coaches to step into the dog poop of that one!
Well, a few coaches in Medford Mass. just found out that you cant open beers and have a drink in front of Bantam players in the team dressing room! Yep, that’s just plain stupid.
It gets better though. Some parents didn’t want the coaches suspended, some parents did. The real problem is that it was a parent who bought the coaches the beer in the first place! Yep, lets buy em some beers and then lets snitch on them! Priceless.
The punishment? Well turns out the coaches are suspended the rest of the season. Tough penalty to pay right? Well not really since the season ended the day they were drinking the beers anyway! Wow, there is a whole lot of bite behind that bark. Ha Ha Ha
But hey, it could be worse. I mean you could have caught the players drinking beer and smoking pot you know. Kind of like they did in Lewiston Maine.
Yep, nothing quite like celebrating that High School Championship with a few beers and a blunt huh kids?! What a bunch of morons!
But lets not forget the BCHL’s Victoria Grizzlies Head Coach either. Yep, he was just found guilty of professional misconduct up in Canada for supplying booze to kids. See, its probably a pretty well known rule that teachers, yes teachers as in school teachers, are not supposed to be buying and drinking beer with students.
Hmmmmmm anyone know where all those common sense pills went to?
But hey, I don’t want you crazy parents to feel left out here…..
Henry Flynn was found guilty by a judge the other day and given a three day jail sentence. Why? Well dumbass Henry decided to threaten to kill a referee.
Needless to say, Flynn in his defense spoke about just how intense the kids game was, and how he was just caught up in the competition. In a related story it was found that Flynn also threatened to smash his own TV screen when the Pittsburgh Penguins traded for Phil Kessel. You know, it was an intense time! Ha Ha Ha
