Ahhhhhhh yes, like a five year old kid I ran to my laptop this morning to take a peek at the first version of the USA Hockey protected lists. I was not disappointed either!
Seriously, we got complete leagues missing from this thing!!!! We got teams missing, and of course we got teams that just stepped on their own sacks by reporting low numbers!
So, if you don’t see your team, either they are too lazy to report and follow the rules, or they don’t have enough players. Either way you got some problems.
If you do see your team and it looks good, then good for you, your team actually worked this summer. If you see your team and it don’t look so good, well sorry about your luck there buddy but you just learned the first lesson of junior hockey.
What’s that lesson? If you have to pay more than 10% down before September 1st for your pay to play team, chances are they don’t have the finances on their own to pull it off.
Yeah, you know, like buying a car. No one is going to tell you that you have to pay half of the price of the car before you can drive it off the lot. So, yeah, its time to pull your head out of your ass on that one.
